Dr. Joyce Dweck is a New York and New Jersey State licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents.
Dr. Dweck obtained her doctorate degree in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University, in New York City, where she was the two-time recipient of the Graduate Psychology Award, recognizing her outstanding academic achievement.
Dr. Dweck’s extensive clinical and assessment experience spans a variety of settings, including schools, psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, and a private practice. Dr. Dweck received wide-ranging neuropsychological and personality evaluation experience as a trainee at Four Winds Hospital, in Katonah, NY, where she conducted comprehensive psychological batteries to children and adolescents in a private psychiatric hospital. Dr. Dweck’s work at Four Winds Hospital yielded a variety of research initiatives concerning psychological assessment, many of which she presented at conferences across the country.
Dr. Dweck completed her post-doctoral training as a fellow at Pediatric Assessment Learning and Support (PALS), a private neuropsychological assessment practice in New York City. During her fellowship, Dr. Dweck honed her assessment skills and familiarized herself with special education resources in and around the New York City area.
